The creators of ‘Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse’ have confirmed that the next movie ‘Beyond The Spider Verse’ will be the final film of the series. They are planning it like a trilogy and The third film will be the end of a super successful and critically acclaimed franchise.
‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has just been released and it has already become the highest rated Spiderman film of all time. Itbis repeating the huge success of the first film of the franchise ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse’. Into The Spider Verse is regarded as one of the best animated movies ever made. It is sad for fans that they will get to have such an animation experience only one more time.
With the entry of the Indian Spiderman and introduction of many other characters, Across The Spider-Verse is soon to be another name on the most popular list. After defeating the fierce Kingpin in the first film, Miles Morales, the friendly neighborhood Superhero has to try his luck once again to save the multiverse from falling apart. And he gets help from Spiders of other universes.
Christopher Miller and Phil Lord are the writers of the films and the producers as well. Their decision of ending it as a trilogy is a very conscious and thought out decision. The story of Miles Morales will have a crescendo and his character arc will be complete by ‘Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse’. Even though it will a bit difficult for fans, it is good such a wonderfully made movie franchise does not get diluted by countless sequels and adaptations.
