Gangubai Kathiawadi broke a shell which many Indian films are following now. The latest example is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra.
The film directed by Anees Bazmee isn’t comparable to the original Bhool Bhulaiya but independently it is a pretty decent film with some good dose of laughter.
Surprisingly, the film was bonkers at the box office and so is happening on Netflix. Even after a glorious run on OTT, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is still doing decent in theatres.
Regardless, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has joined the elite list of Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR by securing the number one position in the most watched non-english film last week.
As you can see, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is sitting at the first spot with 12,290,000 hours of views. Even on the first day of release which is June 19, BBhool Bhulaiyaa 2 earned 4,120,000 hours of views.
Had Netflix’s policy included one day extra then the views would be a whopping 16,410,000 hours which is closer to what RRR earned.
