Until a few days ago, there was not much buzz surrounding Penguin. It is a Keerthy Suresh starrer which also has her lead it in solo avatar.
The first impression arrived with the teaser. Its mysterious visuals and secretive premise grabbed attention. Now, the makers are going all out to consolidate the positive reaction.
The trailer of Penguin will be out tomorrow (June 11th) at noon. It will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Top stars from these industries will be unveiling it. In Telugu, Nani will do the honours whereas in Tamil it would be Dhanush. Mohan Lal will do the same for Malayalam version.
The launch with stars would generate buzz, but it will be the actual content that would be the deciding factor. An arresting trailer with engaging content will help a lot. What we know so far is Keerthy Suresh plays a mother, and her child goes missing.
A debutant Eashvar Karthic directs Penguin. Keerthy Suresh seems to be the only prominent face in the movie, so far. Santhosh Narayanan provides the music to the film that is categorized as a horror thriller. Penguin will stream on Amazon Prime Video from June 19th. After Ponmagal Vandhal and Gulabo Sitabo (June 12th), it will be their third big release within a month.
