Comedy actors trying their hand as heroes is not a recent affair in the Telugu film industry. From the days of Relangi and Rajababu to the recent actors like Sapthagiri and Sudigali Sudheer many have tried in such roles. Comedy actors of the last few decades barely had any success in hero roles. Now, it is the turn of another comedy actor, Suhaas who will be making his hero debut with Colour Photo.
The movie which has Chandini Chowdary as the heroine is all set to skip its theatrical release and stream online directly on the Regional Telugu OTT Platform, AHA. The movie will be premiered on October 23rd as Dussehra Special.
Unlike the previous instances where the actors depended fully on loud comedy, Suhaas chose a story that has comedy as well as the scope to perform backed by a good subject. It has to be seen if he breaks the pattern and emerge successfully as a hero.
Sai Rajesh Neelam who delivered crazy films like Hrudaya Kaleyam and Kobbarimatta has written the story for this movie. Sandeep Raj who wrote dialogues for a few films is turning a director with this movie. Telugu film industry is yet to score a hit on OTT. Let us see if this small film can be one.
