Sun Pictures has just revealed the title of its keenly anticipated Dhanush starrer, which was simply called D44 until now. The title of the film is “Thiruchitrambalam”, as revealed by Sun Pictures in a short promotional video this evening.
The video is cute and adorable, and the most significant thing about it is the use of a wedding invite to announce the names of the primary stakeholders in the film. The title of the film “Thiruchitrambalam”,
as well as rolling out the credits, including Dhanush, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, director Mithran Jawahar, and Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures, all of it featured on different panels of a simply decorated, gold-embossed wedding invite.
Looks like, along with putting the spotlight on the love life of Dhanush’s character, the film will be a comedy of errors regarding his marriage too! After all, as we had informed our readers earlier, Dhanush’s character in Thiruchitrambalam will romance three leading ladies in the film. As per the cast announced yesterday, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Nithya Menen are those three leading ladies. The three play the love interests of Dhanush’s character in different stages of his life, from youth to adulthood.
Going by the promotional video, Thiruchitrambalam promises to be a full-on fun and entertaining family drama. The prominently playing ‘Shehnai’ in the background gives evidence of the above.
Thiruchitrambalam has a huge ensemble cast, including Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Bharathiraja, among others. The premise and plot of the film will only be revealed once we have a teaser, or more updates from the production house about the plot.
This is Dhanush’s fourth collaboration with director Mithran Jawahar, after their earlier films, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran. Young and in-demand music composer Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for Thiruchitrambalam.
