Dice Media, the creators behind the super popular shows, Little Things and What The Folks, recently launched a web show dedicated to male bonding, aka bromance, in today’s lexicon. It’s called ‘Brochara’.
Web shows that focus on females bonding over love, work, and existential issues are a dime a dozen. Four More Shots Please, PA Gals, Adulting in India, and Sex in the City, Desperate Housewives and others of the ilk in the US, are some of the shows that focus on girls bonding with each other.
But a show that showed guys bonding over the relationship and work issues was sorely missing in the digital domain. Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, etc, more than made up for the space in the world of movies.
Enter, Dice Media’s ‘Brochara’. The show focuses exclusively on four guys, all working in the same office, bonding over sundry issues that plague the youngsters of today.
Starring Dhruv Sehgal, Amey Wagh, Varun Tewari and Sayandeep Sengupta, the 5-episode series follows the lives of these guys as they help each other navigate work troubles, love problems and life issues, albeit in a hilarious way.
Interestingly, all four are in long-distance relationships, making their bonding even more intriguing.
In an interaction with the media, Aditi Shrivastava, co-founder of Pocket Aces, another arm of Dice Media, said this about Brochara:
“Until now, Pocket Aces has majorly focused on women centric storylines with ‘Adulting’ and ‘Home Sweet Office’, but with ‘Brochara’, we are entering the domain of male friendships and its dynamics. We are very excited about this!”
We’re excited about it too. Brochara is streaming on YouTube, on Dice Media’s official YouTube channel.
