blonde is just too much. It might be an average film if we judge it from a cinematic perspective but it is absolutely problematic if we examine it from an ethical perspective. It is raw to an extent where it should not be and those Marilyn Monroe was a woman who suffered excessive attention from most of America. Be it commoners or the rulers, she was the candy of everyone’s eye.
Even after decades, the world is not over and it wants to know more about her. Or do they really?
Because the latest stats do not stamp on the same notion. Not only Netflix but the whole of Hollywood must understand that Marilyn Monroe is not a less known personality, in fact, she was never left at peace even after her death.
Even earlier this year, Netflix released a documentary film called “The Mystery Of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes”. They were dissecting some shreds of evidence that still clouds her last few days of life.
It was celebrated enough and the audience was yet again reminded of what the late lady might have gone through.
But, Blo who do not have a lot of patience may only have steamy scenes to stick to the screen.

The reason we are saying this is the chart above. Blonde was the biggest Netflix release last week. But still, it lags dramatically behind Lou which had already enjoyed a phenomenal run last week.
It’s not that there was any other big competition because the third spot belongs to Do Revenge which is not even close to Blonde let alone Lou.
Thus, after The Gray Man, Blonde is yet another king-sized let down by Netflix.
