One of the most prominent figures in the country’s soap opera universe and ALTBalaji’s founder, Ekta Kapoor, is very happy with the show’s current performance. Also, she has credited the series’ host, Kangana Ranaut, and jailor, Karan Kundrra, for its gigantic success.
Ekta recently bestowed a statement to the paparazzi while exiting from the show’s set: “Jailor se pucho, isne aur Kangana ne kiya hai.” (Ask the jailor, he and Kangana have done it)
Lock Upp first rose to pan-India prominence after Kapoor announced the show’s 100 million+ viewership record within 19 days of its premiere. She shared the news via Instagram with the caption, “Lock Up crosses 100million views – only reality show to achieve this feat in a record time of 19 days – Highest watched reality show on Indian OTT space Enough said JAI MATA DI.”
Yes, Kangana Ranuat and Karan Kundrra are one of the major reasons for the reality series’ outstanding streaming run.
