Stylish Star Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa is the actor’s first Pan-India Project. The movie is also the Telugu debut of Malayalam Superstar Fahadh Faasil. Fahadh is popular across the country for his films watched on the OTT during the Pandemic. Director Sukumar signed him immediately for his film.
Fahadh Faasil already joined the team in Hyderabad but just after shooting for a few days, the shooting has to be called off due to the COVID-19 Second Wave. The actor is yet to join the shoot which resumed recently in Hyderabad. “I have liked Sukumar’s films and we have been planning to work together for so long. I am so excited for Pushpa and am looking forward to the film. I will be joining the team soon,” Fahadh Faasil said.
Meanwhile, Pushpa is going to be made in two parts and the first part is almost complete for close to one month’s shoot. Rumors are that the first part will release for Christmas. Allu Arjun will take a break after part one and will do Icon before the second part. This is to facilitate Sukumar more time to work on the script of the second part.
On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil last appeared in the Malayalam film, Malik which has skipped its theatrical release and streamed directly on Amazon Prime Video last night.
