Adivi Sesh’s popularity among the Hindi audience has gone a long way since the success of the dubbed version of ‘Major’ in the Hindi belt. Now, it seems the star is keen to build upon this popularity. As per reports, his upcoming Telugu film ‘HIT: The Second Case’ is gearing up to have a wide Hindi release as well.
The teaser of Adivi Sesh’s action thriller ‘HIT: The Second Case’ was met with a lot of love from all corners upon its release. The teaser even went to trend at an impressive No.1 in Youtube India’s trending list. Now, the trailer of the film seems to be gaining the same appreciation. Reportedly, it is this appreciation, even from the Hindi-speaking diaspora that empowered the makers to think of a Hindi release for the film.
‘HIT: The Second Case’ will be the second installment of the HIT franchise being co-produced by Nani. However, the movie is to be a standalone movie from 2020’s ‘HIT: The First Case’. While the first installment was led by Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma, the upcoming one, besides Sesh, will star Meenakshi Chaudhary. Adivi Sesh, as per reports has also recently informed his inclusion into the next film in the franchise, tentatively titled HIT 3, to the delight of fans.
Besides Telugu and Hindi, it seems there are plans to release the film in other languages as well. While the Telugu version will release in theatres on December 2, 2022, the release dates of dubbed versions in other languages are to be announced later.
It seems the trend of trying the luck of successful Telugu films among the Hindi audience is increasing at a quick rate. In 2022 itself, many big films like ‘Karthikeya 2’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ had a wide release in theatres in Hindi, and to the surprise of the trade doing exceptionally well. Since the Hindi version will not be released on the same date, it seems the makers are waiting to see the responses in the Telugu states before releasing the dubbed versions in other territories.
