‘Fukrey’ franchise is all set to expand as ‘Fukrey 3’ has now commenced shooting. The comedy drama film made under the Excel Entertainment banner has a separate fan base who have been eagerly waiting for this latest sequel.
The announcement came through director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who took to social media to share a photo with the caption “#fukrey3 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽”
The post was also shared by Pulkit Samrat who stars in the film. The ‘Sanam Re’ actor wrote, “#fukrey3 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 starting bohot bohot soooon 😉 aap sab ka pyaar bhejte rahiyega 💓”
Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi and Manjot Singh will return for ‘Fukrey 3’ that has been written by Vipul Vig and Mrigdeep Singh Lamba.
‘Fukrey 3’ will be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and is expected to perform well much like the first and second part which came out in 2013 and 2017 respectively.
It will be exciting to see what fukrapanti are these Fukrey boys upto this time. ‘Fukrey 3’ is tentatively scheduled for a late 2021 release.
