Fun and Frustration is back! The much-awaited sequel of the Telugu comedy, F3, is ready to hit the theatres next year. It seems like the makers have finalised April 29, 2022, as their upcoming project’s release date. If you are a fan of this franchise, the time has come for you to celebrate.
F2 was a huge success, especially in the South Indian states. Additionally, it was well-received by the North Indian audience. It collected more than 125 crores at the box office against a budget of 30 crores. The performances of the leading man, Venky Mama, and his on-screen wife, Tamannaah, were praised by the moviegoers in the first entry.
The smashing success of the first instalment inspired the director, Anil Ravipudi, to helm its successor. Plus, he has penned the screenplay of the film. Alongside the leading duo, we will see Varun Tej and Mehreen Pirzada reprising their previous roles in the second part.
F3 was planned right after the success of its predecessor. Its production work commenced in December 2020. But it got halted as a result of the COVID pandemic. Several rumours surfaced on the internet regarding its possible release date in 2021. But those rumours were thrashed after the makers’ announcement to dispatch their comedy film on February 25. But it got postponed again to avoid its clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak.
