Veteran Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has now signed his next big film titled ‘Vrushabha’. To be helmed by Nanda Kishore, ‘Vrushabha’ is set to start filming in May 2023.
Touted to be a high octane father-son drama, ‘Vrushabha’ will star Mohanlal in a major role, while the role of son will be played by yet to be announced actor from the Telugu film industry.
‘Vrushabha’ will be shot in Malayalam and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi later. ‘Vrushabha’ marks Abhishek Vyas’ AVS Studios’ first film that will be made in association with Shyam Sunder’s First Step Movies along with Praveer Singh.
Mohanlal was last seen in direct-to-OTT release ‘12th Man’ and has a number of other projects lined up. These include Shaji Kailas’ ‘Alone’, Vyaskh’s ‘Monster’, ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’ Gama’s Treasure’, ‘Olavum Theeravum’, ‘Ram: Part 1’, ‘L2: Empuraan’, untitled Vivek film, untitled Anoop Sathyan film and untitled Jeethu Joseph film among others.
