As far as today’s Indian films are concerned, the most anticipated title on IMDb is Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious dream project ‘Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Alia Bhatt. The film’s plot follows the protagonist named Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) who is blessed with incredible superpowers related to fire.
The second buzziest title on IMDb as of now is Pushkar-Gayathri’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ Hindi remake. The neo-noir action thriller revolves around the two titular characters – a tough and upright police officer Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) and a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan).
And the third most anticipated Indian title on IMDb is Mani Ratnam’s period epic film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, which is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name. The movie features an ensemble cast that includes Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Prakash Raj, amongst others.
As far as Indian OTT titles are concerned, only one movie – Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘Cuttputlli’ starring Akshay Kumar, could make it to IMDb’s most anticipated list. The movie’s story revolves around a cop who investigates the brutal murders of a young girl by a serial killer.
