Globally renowned movies database entertainment portal IMDb houses a list/widget of the most anticipated new Indian movies and shows (both theatrical and OTT) that ascertains the real-time popularity of that title. This is determined by the number of pageviews these titles are generating on IMDb. Each title is then ranked by IMDb as per the aggregate number of pageviews.
As far as today’s Indian films and series are concerned, the most anticipated title on IMDb is Anudeep KV’s bilingual drama ‘Prince’ featuring Sivakarthikeyan alongside Ukrainian actor Maria Ryaboshapka in the lead roles.
The second buzziest Indian title on IMDb as of now is the Tamil language family comedy drama movie ‘Love Today’ directed by and featuring Pradeep Ranganathan alongside Radhika Sathyakumar, Sathyaraj, and Yogi Babu.
And the third most anticipated Indian title on IMDb is the action war drama movie ‘Har Har Mahadev’ which narrates the story of Maratha warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande,the commander for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who led the battle where 300 soldiers, who courageously fought against an army of 12000. The film has been helmed by Abhijeet Deshpande.
And surprisingly, not even a single OTT title could make it to IMDb’s most anticipated Indian titles list even though some of them like ‘Four More Shots Please S3’, ‘Tripling S3’, ‘Jhansi’, ‘Appan’ and ‘Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom’ will soon start streaming on various OTT platforms.
