MCU might be one of the fastest growing film franchise in the world. Because every year they have a number of new projects ready to hit the silver screen and they also introduce new characters along with the movies which expands their franchise further.
Namor, the aqua man of MCU is set to debut in the MCU through the upcoming movie “Black Panther : Wakanda Forever”. It is not something which is confirmed officially. But according to the industry insider Charles Murphy of “Murphy’s Multiverse” Namor will be the main antagonist of the Black Panther 2 movie.
Namor McKenzie can actually be considered as the Aquaman of MCU. Similar to Aquaman he is living in an underwater tribe, Atlantis. He is the king of Atlantis and also known as the submariner. He is considered to be the first mutant in Marvel comics. Mabel Cadena is rumored to be playing as Namor in the new Black Panther movie.
Atlantians and Wakandans have a really long rivalry in the comics. It is more likely to see that dispute between these two tribes in the movie also. The whole conflict is more likely to begin due to an invention of Dominque Thorne’s Riri Williams aka Iron Heart.
Due to this Namor is not a hero figure but more like an anti-hero, most probably the villain of Black Panther 2. Fans are really eager to see the conflict between Wakandans and Atlantians and also Namor making his live action debut in the movie.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has almost completed the production works and is set to release on 11 November 2022.
