Disney+ Hotstar has dropped the teaser of the much anticipated Malayalam film ‘12th Man’ starring Mohanlal and its all things intriguing. Helmed by Jeethu Joseph (‘Drishyam’, ‘Aadhi’, ‘The Body’), ‘12th Man’ is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar soon.
The teaser shows how everyone has three lives, a public life, a private life and a secret life. The video also gives intriguing glimpses of each prominent character from the film ending with one featuring Mohanlal who says “It’s time to blow the final whistle.”
In the teaser one can see people from varying fields partying together but then it also shows the after scene where once it was buzzing with people is now filled with an uneasy silence.
Jeethu Joseph directs ‘12th Man’ written by K. R. Krishan Reddy. The film is about what happens when twelve strangers from different walks of life meet at a distantly located lone bungalow where they are invited by an unknown host.
Following ‘Drishyam 2’, ‘12th Man’ is the next collaboration between Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal that also stars Unni Mukundan, Anusree, Aditi Ravi, Saiju Kurup, Leona Leshoy, Anu Sithara and Shivada Nair among others. Sathish Kurup handles the cinematography for the film while the editing is down by V. S. Vinayak. Anil Johnson has given the music for ‘12th Man’.
