In the realm of Bengali film industry, only a handful of duos are as dynamic as Director Joydeep Mukherjee and actor Anirban Chakrabarti. They have treated viewers with films like FIR and the iconic The Eken series which has attracted a lot of viewers to Bengali Cinema.
The dynamic duo is back with another nail biting thriller with Missing Link. The series, which is a mystery thriller promises to be another instant classic. Anirban Chakrabarti can be seen as a SDPO and officer of Mofswal tracing a mind bending case in the series.
Inspired by true events, the plot revolves around a murder case and how does a normal bank employee played by Loknath Dey gets involved in the case.
The cast also includes Satyam Bhattacharya, Nabanita Datta, Biswanath Basu and Kalpan Mitra in prominent roles, meanwhile Samir Sengupta is the author of the series.
The much awaited thriller is now streaming on a new OTT platform Fridaay which is powered by Camellia Productions. Only time will tell how will the audience react to the dynamic duo’s upcoming project and how well it fits with the current viewers.
