The teaser of Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad is now out. She had been talking about the film for quite some time and now finally there is a solid update. The film starring Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in the lead role is directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai and is dubbed as an international level spy thriller.
Ranaut will be seen playing the role of Agent Agni and several looks from the film have already been out.
Talking about the teaser, it is mostly a mess. Kangana is playing a spy who follows orders but it is highly unlikely if not completely acceptable for spies to fight in a battle like soldiers. Looks like the film is meant only for showing the action side of Kangana instead of providing some convincing story like Raazi.
At some point, you would also feel like watching Margot Robbie’s Birds Of Prey, especially in the blonde makeup. But the action sequences are really brutal and it might cross the benchmark that Anushka set in NH 10 through unsettling action sequences.
So overall the teaser proves that the story is written to serve Kangana’s character which it should be otherwise.
Initially, the film was planned to release on April 8th but due to COVID, it went postponed to May 20. The film will hit the theatres on that date only in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
