Kartik Aaryan‘s Netflix Original film ‘Dhamaka‘ is the most anticipated film of recent times from Bollywood. Ever since Netflix announced the film in its big fat slate of content for 2021, fans of the actor, and film buffs in general, are waiting for the film to premiere on Netflix. Not only has the film release date not been given until now, but there has been no sign of a trailer for ‘Dhamaka’ even.
Things are about to change, however. Kartik Aaryan has given the strongest hint that the ‘Dhamaka’ trailer is on the way. In a video that he posted on his Twitter, Kartik Aaryan teased that he was dubbing for something. And guess what the actor had in his hand – a bound manuscript that had “Dhamaka trailer” written on the top page!

Looks like the “Dhamaka” trailer is finally on the way. The film will have a direct to digital release on Netflix, sometime this year. We’re guessing it to be an either Dusshera or Diwali release on Netflix. The streaming giant has a massive Fandom event this week, on 25 September, called TUDUM. Maybe they’ll give us a trailer for Dhamaka then? Or maybe, even a glimpse? Let’s hope it happens this week at the TUDUM: India Spotlight section of the event.
Kartik Aaryan’s Dhamaka is the official Indian remake of the 2014 Korean thriller, The Terror Live. The race-against-time thriller has Kartik Aaryan playing a television presenter who engages on live television with a terrorist who threatens to blow up a bomb at a public place. But it becomes a race for survival for him when he discovers that the terrorist’s intentions are even more evil.
Dhamaka has been directed by Ram Madhvani, who’s earlier directed the seminal ‘Neerja‘. The film is jointly produced by Ram Madhvani and Ronnie Screwvala.
