Khakee: The Bihar Chapter came a few years back, and it was a huge success on the platform. Given the views it received, Biharis are not the only ones who loved the show. Now, the next season of the Khakee series is here.
However, it is not like any usual series. It is a sort of franchise that will take up new stories in every season. So this time, the series is focused on West Bengal or simply Bengal. It has no relation whatsoever to the Bihar chapter. The trailer of the series was launched last night, and it is gaining quite some buzz.
The people are in awe of the gangster drama that is about to come. There are politicians, murderers, criminals and a lot of cop drama. Jeet is an actor known for cop roles, and he is portraying it perfectly well. More importantly, there are a lot of political allegories.
You can most certainly draw parallels to the political scenario of West Bengal, which was plagued by crime and corruption. The trailer shows the rise of a lady (Chitangoda Singh) who is challenging the existing government.
“Khakee: The Bengal Chapter” features Jeet Madnani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty and Shraddha Das.
The series is going to be released on March 20th. Let’s see if it gets a reception comparable to The Bihar Chapter.
