After a spate of average Indian Original releases, Netflix looks set to have a legit superhit Indian Original this week. And that Indian Original is none other than Kota Factory, and its upcoming new season. Why do we think so?

Kota Factory is a known property to Indian viewers, one that has proved to be a blockbuster hit in its debut season. The series is one of the highest ranked Indian shows on IMDb, with a rating of 9.2/10. Viewers are desperately waiting for Kota Factory Season 2 ever since the first season came around, and their prayers are about to be answered on 24th September!
3. Two-Week Clear Window –
With no other buzzy show or movie releasing on OTT in the near future, Kota Factory Season 2 will have a clear run in the OTT space. There is absolutely zero competition for Kota Factory, as no other big Indian show or movie is releasing on OTT in the next two weeks. Ample time for Kota Factory Season 2 to pull in viewers!

Kota Factory has a beloved set of characters that populate the show. Vaibhav, Meena, Uday, Jeetu Bhaiya, are some of the most loved characters ever to grace the Indian OTT space. The extremely endearing actors, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan and Jitendra Kumar have immortalised the characters for us. We are invested in the characters, their sorrows and joys and everything that happens to them – proof enough that we love them to bits! And Jeetu Bhaiya is easily the best character created in recent times. His monologues are lit, and the ‘gyaan’ he gives out is rousing and inspiring, leading us to wish we too had a Jeetu Bhaiya in our lives!
5. The Premise Of The Show –
Kota Factory boasts a premise that every Indian kid relates to. Anybody in the country who’s ever given a competitive exam will instantly relate to the characters in Kota Factory, and their unique issues. That includes pretty much all of us and not just iit-jee aspirants; coz haven’t we all felt the pressure of succeeding in that ONE exam at some point in our lives?
6. The Treatment –
Lastly, the treatment given to Kota Factory instantly draws viewers to the show. The black and white treatment is innovative and eye-catching. The narrative sparkles with multiple nuances. Kota Factory has everything – humour, emotion, fun, and the feel-good factor in its narrative. The classic premise of the underdog beating all odds to emerge victorious is always a surefire winner. It is loved by viewers, irrespective of caste, region, culture, language and even country. Is it any wonder that Kota Factory is one of the most-loved Indian shows.
