Ever since she first started appearing in feature films, leading actress Madhuri Dixit has been a sight for sore eyes. With an impressive slate of more than 70 movies credited to her name, she is back to the big screen after a small, unofficial hiatus. What’s more is that she’ll be taking up a role incredibly contradictory to her previous characters.
Having officially joined the ensemble cast for the third installment of the iconic Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Madhuri Dixit will be playing the character of a ghost! Other names associated with the upcoming horror comedy are Kartik Aaryan, Tripti Dimri and Vidya Balan.
The Anees Bazmee directorial is all set to begin shooting sometime later this month. While there is no confirmation yet, it is rumoured that Vidya Balan’s role will be in tandem, i.e both her and Madhuri Dixit will be playing the character of a ghost!
Vidya Balan portrayed the leading lady, Avni, in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa movie and therefore, the fact that she is coming back to the franchise after skipping the second installment, must have fans overjoyed! Kartik Aaryan on the other hand will be continuing after having depicted the leading man Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
