The second official teaser of ‘Marakkar: Lion of The Arabian Sea‘ has dropped on the YouTube channel of Saina Movies. The 24-second promotional video was released over an hour ago and it features some never before seen clips. The teaser also mentions the official release date for the lyrical video of the film’s first single, “Neeye En Thaaye”. Check out the promo at the end of this article.
As mentioned earlier, this short clip shows various new clips that has not been shown before, especially in the main trailer. Short 2-second clips have been stitched together to remind us of the exotic set designs, costumes and locations and it has got our blood pumping again. However, the main part of the teaser comes at the very end, when the promo drops the release date of its first single, which is tomorrow, on 26th December 2021. The OST has been one of the most attractive pieces of music made by an Indian composer after a long time, and it seems to be a mix between Irish folk music and some Middle-Eastern tunes.
It has been a rollercoaster of a ride for the cast and crew of ‘Marakkar’. With the film’s producer Antony Perumbavoor changing his mind about an OTT premiere twice, the film is finally making its way to theatres next week, on December 2nd 2021. With the release date so close, it makes sense that the film is releasing promos this close to the release date. After an enthusiastic reception for the first trailer, we feel that the first single will also get a similar response.
