Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India has skipped its theatrical release and is currently streaming on Netflix. The movie has got poor reviews and has ended up as yet another case of a failed film para dropping on to the OTT.
Keerthy Suresh attained Superstardom with Mahanati – the Biopic of the Legendary actress Savitri. It is something that rarely happens to the heroine something on the likes of Anushka in Arundathi days. She seems to be getting carried away trying women-oriented subjects.
The major problem is selecting a good subject as well as a suitable director. In Penguin and Miss India, her intentions seem to be good but made the wrong choice in the directors handling such subjects. In the hands of an amateur director, she looks pale as well. It has to be seen if things will be different with her next movie, Good Luck Sakhi.
The last we heard is that the movie will also skip its theatrical release and surface online. Not disappointing fans of her commercial films. The actress has Nithin’s Rang De lined up for release, maybe for Sankranthi. She will also be seen alongside Rajinikanth in Annaatthe and Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
