Mohanlal’s latest film Alone is now ready for a digital release after its theatrical release. Normally, Malayalam films have the potential to surprise you with their exceptional story and execution.
Sadly, Alone doesn’t fall in the same category. Although it is highly experimental, it doesn’t manage to impress you let alone surprise you. It received highly negative reviews from both audience and critics and emerged as a fiasco.
Regardless, the fans of Mohanlal are spread across the nation and they might want to give the film another try.
If you have not heard about Alone then you might want to. As the name suggests, it is about an alone man stuck in an apartment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film features Mohanlal and only Mohanlal on the screen.
It is highly experimental a film and all the other characters are heard as voices. When the makers of the film dared to make such a difficult yet interesting film then they must have given some attention to the perfection of the script. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to have worked in the film.
The film is heading to Disney+Hotstar for its OTT release. You will be able to stream the film from the 3rd of March and onwards. Stay tuned for all the updates from the OTT industry.
