Superstar Mohanlal is back with another new film. The teaser for his next Malayalam movie ‘Alone‘ is out.
The story of the film follows a man named Kalidas who suddenly gets stranded during the lock-down due to the Corona pandemic when he travels from Coimbatore to Kerala.
The story is written by Rajesh Jayaraman. Alone is helmed by renowned hitmaker director Shaji Kailas. Shaji Kailas is known for directing films like ‘Jana’, ‘Kaduva’, ‘Vaigai Express’, ‘Ginger’, ‘Madirashi’, ‘Kerala Cafe’ and many more. The film will be distributed by Maxlab Cinemas And Entertainment.
Rising talent Jakes Bejoy has composed the music of the film. He has given music to films like ‘Queen’, ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’, ‘Ranam’, ‘Monsoon Mangoes’ etc.
The cinematography is handled by Abhinandan Ramanujan and the editing is done by Don Max.
A short clip of the movie was released four months ago. The movie was slated to be released earlier but due to some issues it was postponed. There are rumours that ‘Alone’ may skip its theatrical release and directly premiere to OTT. The release date and other details are not yet revealed.
Mohanlal had quite a great year with Monster which is roaring in the theaters and also Aarattu, Bro Daddy, 12th Man; and has a great lineup of movies like ‘Barroz’, one untitled Jeetu Joseph film, one untitled Vivek film, one with Anoop Sathyan.
Mohanlal is the only actor who is seen in the teaser, there are chances that he will be the only character in it. There are voice roles featured in it by the way. There will be a unique story to witness with an awesome performance. Make sure to watch this film with your family once it is released.
