Helmed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the period romance movie is set in the year 1942. The story revolves around how a wealthy son Narendra (Anil Kapoor) of a shrewd politician falls in love with the beautiful daughter Rajjo (Manisha Koirala) of a freedom fighter, who wants to assassinate a ruthless British General.
Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the action thriller movie features Anil Kapoor as an upright and celebrated Para SF Officer Major Jaidev. He captures a powerful terrorist (Danny) and returns home for a break where he meets his childhood friend Anjali (Madhuri Dixit), who is madly in love with him. But Jaidev has a crush on another woman. That’s when the terrorist manipulates Anjali to destroy Jaidev’s career.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the riveting thriller revolves around the incredible story of an affluent Kuwait-based Indian businessman Ranjit Katiyal (Akshay Kumar), who decides to become the messiah for the fellow Indians who get stranded in Kuwait following Iraq’s invasion.
The Ghazi Attack (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The film was inspired by true events of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The basic premise revolves around how the courageous crew of the Indian submarine INS Karanj destroyed the Pakistani navy submarine PNS Ghazi off the coast of Visakhapatnam in the year 1971. The film featured Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Taapsee Pannu, and Om Puri.
The Legend of Bhagat Singh (Streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Shemaroo Me, MX Player, Lionsgate Play)
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film chronicles the life of Bhagat Singh – one of the bravest revolutionaries of the Indian Independence Movement. It portrays various events of Bhagat Singh’s life such as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Mahatma Gandhi’s non-cooperation movement, his joining of the Hindustan Republican Association to his days in the prison, until the legendary hero was hanged at a young age.
Roja (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, Sun NXT)
The film revolves around a simple but strong-willed Tamil village girl Roja (Madhoo), who gets married to RAW cryptologist Rishi (Arvind Swamy). Their blissful married life is short-lived as her husband is kidnapped by militants during a covert assignment in Kashmir. Roja makes desperate efforts to get back her husband. It was directed by veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Essentially a prison escape movie that is set in the 1970s, the story follows six brave prisoners of the Indo-Pak War of 1971 and their attempt to make a daredevil escape from a POW camp to reach the nearby Indian border. The film featured an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpai, Ravi Kishan, Deepak Dobriyal, and Manav Kaul.
