Exactly after a month of releasing the teaser of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, Netflix just dropped the brand new trailer of the same and trust me when I say it. It’s ‘bloody’ brilliant.
As revealed earlier, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is set in 2006 centering the White House where Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, the protagonists of the survival horror game, Resident Evil 2 (1998), are assigned to investigate a hacking incident there. When things go bizarre, they end up being attacked by zombies and now, they must come up with a solution to survive this new zombie invasion in White House.
The trailer shows the aftermath of Penamstan civil war, which leads Claire to investigate into a secret experiment and a strange image drawn by a nonverbal boy, which has something to do with the zombies.
Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello will reportedly lend their voice for Leon & Claire, respectively. Announced in 2020 Tokyo Game Show, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is being directed by Eiichiro Hasumi and Produced by TMS Entertainment whereas Quebico will have the responsibility to animate the entire series.
When the teaser of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness went live a month back, the date of the release was not confirmed but this time, Netflix has confirmed the release date with this extremely gory and thrilling trailer and it’s 8th of July. Looks like, another OTT content worth binging is about to hit Netflix just before Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City which is set to be released on 24th November, 2021.
