Another Tamil thriller film is dropping directly for streaming today, in just a few minutes on a prominent OTT platform. Tamil Cinema has been releasing some brilliant thriller films over the past few years, and with a star-studded lineup lead by Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Ajmal Ameer – we are in for a treat. The movie is a remake of the Korean hit thriller, ‘Blind’, so it will also be targeting a section of Indian audiences who watch Korean content. What is The Film About?
A blind woman ends up being a “witness” to a hit-and-run case. She goes to the police to testify against the person she suspects to have done the deed. Her life turns upside down when the real killer starts to stalk her.
Production Details
Milind Rau will direct this official remake of the aforementioned, Korean film, ‘Blind’ which was released in 2011. Paid for by Vignesh Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures and Kross Pictures, the film also stars Indhuja, Manikandan Pattambi and Saran in crucial supporting roles. Notably, the Nayanthara-starrer marks Vignesh’s debut as a producer.
How to Watch Netrikann?
Like many other films, Netrikann had to release directly for streaming due to the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases in India. The movie will be released directly for streaming on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar, today, on 13th August 2021.
In What Languages Will Netrikann Stream In?
Netrikann will be available for streaming in the original Tamil language as well as in Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu as well. Disney+ Hotstar will also provide subtitles in Tamil, English, Malayalam and Telugu.
