Netflix has dropped the teaser of its upcoming comedy series ‘Uncoupled’ starring Neil Patrick Harris (‘How I Met Our Mother’, ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events’). Coming from the creators of ‘Emily In Paris’ and ‘Sex and the City’ and executive producer of ‘Modern Family’, ‘Uncoupled’ will premiere on 29th July, 2022 only on Netflix.
The teaser starts off with Michael (Harris) standing by a dustbin at the crossroads with a bouquet in his hands. Recent break up with his partner for a long time had left him feeling disappointed with life but a mere smile from a stranger makes him believe that better things are yet to come.
The rest of the teaser shows glimpses of his past and present life where he tries to deal with the love of his life leaving him while trying to live life with all his heart and getting back out there once again.
‘Uncoupled’ on Netflix follows the story of Michael, a married Manhattanite who thought his life was perfect until his husband of 17 years blindsides him by walking out the door. Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing the one he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-40s in New York City.
Darren Star (‘Emily In Paris’, ‘Sex and the City’) and Jeffrey Richman (‘Modern Family’, ‘Frasier’) serve as the creators and executive producers for ‘Uncoupled’. Apart from starring in the show Neil Patric Harris also executive producers the series alongside Tony Hernandez (‘Younger’, ‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’) and Lilly Burns (‘Emily In Paris’).
Consisting of eight half hour episodes, ‘Uncoupled’ will start streaming from 29th July, 2022 only on Netflix.
