After featuring a historical TV show ‘The Crown’ based on the British Royal family, Netflix has now collaborated with a real life royal, Prince Harry for a sports documentary titled, ‘Rising Phoenix’.
‘Rising Phoenix’ is a documentary that promises to tell “the extraordinary story of the Paralympic Games.” It features a host of international athletes from various countries while highlighting the phenomenal popularity of the Paralympics in the world. The documentary trailer features Prince Harry saying, “”There isn’t anything else in the world that can bring you back from the darkest places, [other] than sport.”
He also speaks on the impact of the Paralympic Games for both the audience and participants. He has always been a champion for sports and has even set up the Invictus Games in 2014 has been passionate about the documentary from its inception.
The documentary was supposed to coincide with the Tokyo 2020 Olympics but will now precede the Paralympic Games being held next year instead.
Rising Phoenix will be available to stream in over 190 countries worldwide on Netflix from August 26.
