You may probably know John David Washington from the recently released TENET which was all that everyone could talk about in recent times. This coupled with Zendaya and her sheer fandom especially after Euphoria has set the stage for the latest ‘Malcolm and Marie’ on Netflix.
‘Malcolm and Marie’ is a story of a filmmaker Malcolm and his girlfriend Marie who have just returned home from the premiere of his film and are awaiting the critical response to the film. The evening unfolds layers of obstacles that look like it may bring both of them on the edge.
This film is written and directed by the visionary mind of Sam Levinson who is best known for being the creator of the HBO teen drama series Euphoria. He is also known for writing several comedy scripts but it looks like things are really going to take a dark turn with ‘Malcolm and Marie’.
The nature of many relationships may seem all rosy and good from the surface but sometimes there is insecurity, jealousy, and envy hiding deep within. not only can such things erode the foundation of a relationship but can also make their personal lives miserable and ‘Malcolm and Marie’ looks to touch upon this subject.
‘Malcolm and Marie’ is shot entirely in black and white which helps establish a dark undertone to the story. The cast is one of the hot topics of the title and the audiences are eagerly waiting to see what is in store from the mind behind Euphoria.
