A huge news is coming for all the movie fans all over the world by Netflix. Adam McKay’s upcoming sci-fi satire ‘Don’t Look Up’ is just packed with stars. With the addition of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet, the ensemble satire has just hyped itself up the wait for the movie. McKay serves as the producer of the film along with Kevin Messick via their Hyperobject Industries banner.
The cast now comprises of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry, Tomer Sisley.
Don’t Look Up will revolve around two low level astronomers who commence a media tour to warn people about an asteroid which is approaching the earth at an alarming rate and with it brings the capability which can destroy the whole world.
While several of the cast members already joined the film it was DiCaprio who was in a dilemma regarding the film. while initially he was in doubt regarding doing two films which are Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon for Apple TV+ and this one for Netflix simultaneously. But with the lockdown coming into action he has decided to do both the films.
Leonardo is one of the top actors who despite his huge popularity still hasn’t starred in any of the projects by these streaming giants till now. But with these two films he will be appearing for two different platforms. While seeing the cast of both the films, they will be getting a theatrical release.
‘Don’t Look Up’ might start it’s production in the month of November 2020.
