Netflix has never failed to surprise us. It is now coming up a star-studded and big budget film and you surely do not want to miss it!
Netflix’s ‘The Devil All The Time’ is based on Donal Ray Pollock’s novel of the same name. This psychological thriller stars high profile Hollywood stars – Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Eliza Scanlen, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Riley Keough, Haley Bennet, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, Harry Melling, Douglas Hodge, Pokey LaFarge, Lucy Faust, Abby Glover, and Michael Harding. Wait! There’s more to it. Jake Gyllenhaal is also associated with this project. He is co-producing with Gretchen McGowan, Randall Poster, and Max Born.The film is directed and co-written by Antonio Campos.
The story takes place between World War II and the Vietnam War. It follows the stories of multiple people who have been severely affected by damages of the war. These include a distressed veteran of the carnage (Bill), who can’t save his wife, Charlotte, from a painful death by cancer; a serial killer couple Carl and Sandy Henderson (Jason and Riley), who search for suitable models on America’s highway to photograph and kill; an unholy preacher (Robert) who is new in the town; a corrupt small town sheriff; and Willard & Charlotte’s (Bill and Haley) son, Arvin Russell (Tom), who grows into a good but violent man.
This film is definitely not going to be a light-hearted watch, the above description makes it pretty evident! It is all set to release on 16th September, only on Netflix. The star cast looks promising and we can already see in amongst Netflix’s top ten!
