Netflix has dropped the official teaser of the upcoming Addams Family show, Wednesday. Jenna Ortega will play the spooky and highly unpredictable titular character in the series. Coming from the creative mind of Tim Burton, the show has been bankrolled by MGM Television. Here’s what we know about Wednesday so far!
The latest teaser shows Wednesday Addams wreaking havoc in the lives of people around her. From dropping piranhas into a swimming pool for torturing a bully to meeting insanely odd peers like her at Nevermore Academy, the forthcoming Netflix show guarantees to bestow a wild yet oddly satisfying blend of horror and humour.
Wednesday: What’s the plot?
The forthcoming Netflix supernatural comedy will explore the childhood days of Wednesday Addams and her time as a student at Nevermore Academy. Additionally, she will be seen mastering her psychic powers and putting a stop to a brutal murder spree in her town. And most importantly, she is dead set on solving the supernatural mystery that badly affected her family 25 years ago.

Jenna Ortega leads the cast as Wednesday Addams. Alongside her, we will see Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Riki Lindhome as Dr Valerie Kinbott, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, George Burcia as Lurch, Victor Dorobantu as Thing and Gwendoline Christie as Principal Larissa Weems.
