Fans of Jr NTR cannot wait to see him appearing in Prashanth Neel’s directional, NTR31 (temporarily titled). The film’s first look poster came out in May this year. And now, the helmer himself has revealed that the project will go on floors in April 2023.
Neel is already busy filming Salaar starring Prabhaas as the titular character. The rest of the film’s cast has talents like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, and Jagapathi Babu. The upcoming Hombale Films production has been made on a gigantic budget of 200 crores and will come out in theatres on September 28 next year.
After shattering numerous box office records in India, SS Rajamouli’s RRR performed outstandingly well on Netflix. Additionally, the magnum opus has received high praises from various Hollywood figures like Russo Brothers, Scott Derrickson, James Gunn, Patton Oswalt, Joseph Morgan, and the list continues. The grand success of RRR aided Jr NTR in getting his hands on two more pan-India projects: NTR30 and NTR31. The former has Koratala Siva as helmer. It is the actor’s second collaboration with the director after Janatha Garage (2016).
Plus, Variety took everyone by surprise after adding RRR to the list of ‘All Contenders’ in the Academy Awards’ Best Picture category some time ago.
Considering NTR31’s filming schedule, fans can expect the Jr NTR starrer to arrive on the big screen in the second half of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates.
