The grand success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has opened multiple doors for Nushrratt Bharuccha in Bollywood. She recently completed the shoot of Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar. And now, she has come back to work alongside him in her upcoming project, Selfiee, with Raj A Mehta at the helm. The actress has previously worked with the director in Ajeeb Daastaans. Apart from her and Kumar, Emraan Hashmi and Diana Penty also have major roles in the film.
Dharma Productions also welcomed Bharuccha with open arms for Selfiee. The latter shared all the welcome gifts sent by Karan Johar and his team via her Instagram stories. She has kick-started the film’s shoot in Bhopal. The Chhorii fame shared her excitement through a statement:
“I am super excited to be a part of the Selfiee cast and looking forward to be working on one more film with Akshay sir.. And that too right after Ram Setu, which makes it even more special!”
There is no denying that Bharuccha has a jam-packed filming schedule these days. Her outstanding performance in Chhorii last year garnered acclaim from viewers. Additionally, her forthcoming romantic drama, Hurdang, will hit the theatres on April 8. Sunny Kaushal will be seen sharing the screen with her.
