Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas are doing the honours of announcing the nominations for Oscars 2021. In its most delayed Awards ceremony ever, courtesy Covid-19, the winners of the Academy Awards for 2021 will be declared on April 25.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will give away awards for outstanding work in 23 categories.
Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland has emerged as the frontrunner for the Academy Award for Best Picture, with Chloé herself at the front of the race to win Best Director. Chadwick Boseman is in line to win the Oscar for Best Actor posthumously. In all the other categories, the field is wide open and competition is fierce.
