Atharvaa starrer ‘Patthathu Arasan’ released at the theatres today to mixed reception. Binged learns that the digital rights of this Tamil language sports action drama directed by A Sarkunam is with Netflix India. Following the 28 day window, Pattathu Arasan is likely to stream from December 23rd.
Set against the backdrop of green-caped betel farms near Thiruvaiyaru, Pattathu Arasan follows the life of Poththaari’s children, and most importantly Chinnadurai, the son he has with his second wife. Poththaari is also a former kabaddi player, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players. He has two wives and heirs in both of the them. The film follows the tussle for properties.
Written and directed by A.Sarkunam and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, Patthathu Arasan stars Atharvaa, Rajkiran, Ashika Ranganath and Raadhika Sarathkumar in the lead roles.
