Twitter has been abuzz since noon with the news that Baahubali star Prabhas has been signed on for a critical role in Mission Impossible 7. There is also news that Prabhas’ entry into the Mission Impossible franchise has been confirmed by the director of Mission Impossible 7, Christopher McQuarrie, himself.
As soon as the news hit, both Prabhas and Mission Impossible 7 started trending on Twitter. Fans of the Telugu superstar are delighted with this cataclysmic turn of events in the career of their favourite star. However, is there any truth to the news circulating on Twitter? Has Prabhas really signed up for Mission Impossible 7?
The truth of the news has been revealed by none other than Christopher McQuarrie himself. A Twitter user tagged the director of Mission Impossible 7 and asked him outright if the news of Prabhas being in MI7 is true. To the delight of the man, Christopher McQuarrie took the time to reply to him. McQuarrie said that while Prabhas is a very talented actor, he’s never had the opportunity to meet him in person. He ended his reply with a sarcastic, “Welcome to the internet”!
Well, Christopher McQuarrie’s reply has put an end to the raging speculation like nothing else could. Especially when Prabhas himself is not on Twitter to debunk the rumours.
