Pushpa, Sooryavanshi, Annaatthe: Top 15 Movies Of 2021 Based On BookMyShow

Theatres have opened up and several films are lined up for release in the rest of 2021. At the same time, several buzzy films are still opting to skip theatres and release directly on various streaming platforms.

In the plethora of films slated to release in theatres and on OTT in the remaining two months of the year, how do we know which ones have the most buzz, and which don’t?

The latest fad in town to gauge the above is to check out the number of ‘Interests’ each film has garnered on ticket-booking platform ‘BookMyShow‘. Audiences show their preferences for upcoming films by clicking the “interested” button for a film on the upcoming films section in Book My Show. The most popular films generate the most ‘Interests’, which helps us understand which are the most buzzing movies coming up in Indian cinema.

A quick analysis of the BookMyShow Interests tells us that one of the perpetual leaders, ‘Sooryavanshi‘ has gained a massive number of interests since we last checked the numbers in late September. Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ too has zoomed ahead of most Indian films.

But the most spectacular change in numbers has happened with Rajinikanth‘s ‘Annaatthe‘. The film was languishing at the bottom of the barrel with hardly 9k interests. And now, its interests number will shock you! Such a spectacular rise in interest!

So which are the most anticipated films with the most buzz in India for the rest of 2021, based on BookMyShow interests?
