Rajat Kapoor in Shobdo Jobdo: First Poster of Hoichoi's New Web Series Is Enigmatic and Alluring Hoichoi TV, the leading OTT platform that exclusively streams Bengali digital content for worldwide audiences, has just dropped the first look and official poster of its new upcoming web series, titled Shobdo Jobdo. The web series is headlined by popular and prolific actor Rajat Kapoor, who has recently received accolades for his performance in ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s Code M.

Hoichoi TV has certainly upped the ante in recent times. With a compelling slate of Originals, both movies and web series, it is giving mainstream OTT platforms such as ZEE5 and Amazon Prime Video a run for their money in terms of garnering eyeballs in the regional market. The new web series comes close on the heels of its latest, well-received January releases, Bonyo Premer Golpo and Byomkesh Season 5.

Shobdo Jobdo stars Rajat Kapoor in the lead role. He is playing a writer in the series. The series is a modern-day psychological and suspense thriller with elements of mystery. The tagline reads, “When the darkness of the past crosses path with the present…”. The narrative certainly seems intriguing.

Shobdo Jobdo also stars actors Payel Sarkar, Subrat Dutta and Mumtaz Sorcar in crucial roles. It is directed by Sourav Chakraborty.

The series is slated for a February release. Watch this space at Binged.com for further news on the specific release date.
