Prashanth Neel is one of the most sought-after filmmakers in South Indian cinema, and particularly so in Telugu cinema now. Almost every top-tier Telugu star wants to work with Prashanth, the man behind ‘KGF’. The ace filmmaker is making the most of the situation as he is locking big-league Telugu star back to back. Prashanth Neel is currently working on Prabhas‘s Salaar, which will be his immediate next release after KGF 2. He recently announced NTR31, which will have Jr NTR in the lead role. Today, Prashanth has officially announced RC17, which will feature Ram Charan in the central role.
Interestingly, Prashanth Neel has lined up a project each with Prabhas, Ram Charan, and JR NTR. All these three superstars worked with master craftsman SS Rajamouli in the recent past. While Prabhas worked with Rajamouli for the Baahubali duology, it is known that Ram Charan and Jr NTR are collaborating with the star filmmaker for RRR. This is an uncanny coincidence of sorts as Prashanth has locked all three of the top stars who have been associate with Rajamouli.
As for RC17, the project was officially announced today, albeit in a low-key manner. “Met a legend, and another in the making. Thank you @AlwaysRamCharan for hosting us, had a wonderful evening. Meeting chireenjavi garu @KChiruTweets was a childhood dream come true!,” Prashanth Neel tweeted a little while ago. He also shared a snap of himself alongside Charan and Chiranjeevi. This pretty much confirms that Ram Charan – Prashanth Neel project which has been in the news for a long time now is very much happening.
Prashanth Neel is currently focused on Salaar. He plans to start working on NTR31 once he is done with the Prabhas starrer. Post which, he is likely to collaborate with Ram Charan for RC17.
