The OTT release date of ‘RRR’ in Hindi is out! The blockbuster Telugu film arrives in its Hindi dubbed version on Netflix on June 2. That’s great news for all those who’ve still not watched ‘RRR‘ in the theatres, and for all those who can’t wait to enjoy the film again, this time in the comfort of their home.
S S Rajamouli, creator of RRR, and DVV Films, its producers, have opted for a staggered OTT release for RRR. The Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions of the film will release on ZEE5, while the Hindi, English, and foreign language versions of the film will release on Netflix. The RRR OTT release model undergoes yet another differentiation here too. RRR (Tamil Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada) will first release on ZEE5 on May 20, under the pay-per-view model. Viewers will have to pay a certain amount to watch the film on ZEE5. After a limited period under the TVOD model, RRR should become free to watch on ZEE5.
Similarly, for the Hindi version of RRR, the film will first release as pay per view on BMS Stream on May 20. The rent for RRR in Hindi on BMS Stream is ₹399. Thereafter, the film will arrive on Netflix worldwide on June 2, free to watch for Netflix subscribers.
In all probability, the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions of RRR should become free to watch for ZEE5 subscribers too on June 2.
RRR stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in crucial roles. The film has become a super super hit worldwide, shattering multiple box office records along the way.
