SS Rajamouli is a master of conceiving and executing spellbinding action blocks. Anyone who has watched his previous film will not dispute this claim. The latest updates are implying that Rajamouli is set to take things to a whole new level with RRR and expectedly so. Apparently, the makers of RRR have spent around Rs 100 crores just on the action sequences that form the crux of the film in the climax portion.
As per reports, the climax and pre-climax portion of RRR will be loaded with high-octane action sequences. These action blocks were reportedly shot on a lavish scale and the makers spent a fortune on the same. A sizeable part of the film’s overall budget was spent on this climax fight alone. It is heard that the action blocks in the pre-climax and climax part will constitute for 40 minutes and they will take the audience on a riveting ride.
That said, not all sections of the audience will enjoy such super lengthy action episodes. Also, if there is not enough drama to fuel all this heavy duty action, the narrative can get monotonous. This will be the biggest challenge to overcome for RRR. As of now, it is hard to imagine what Rajamouli has in store for the viewers by infusing so many action blocks in the climax portion. Guess we will have to wait for another 2-3 months if we are to know the answer.
RRR has now locked two tentative release dates. The makers have announced that the film will be out in theatres from 18 March if the Covid situation permits. Else, the film will release on 28 April.
