A new trailer is out for upcoming flight drama ‘Runway 34’. The 2-minute long trailer promises an edge-of-the-seat drama, with ample tense moments between its stars, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. Runway 34 hits theatres on April 29.
The trailer opens with Ajay Devgn facing a dramatic situation as the captain of a passenger aircraft that is facing imminent danger. Bad weather and a technical fault on the part of the ATC imperil the lives of 150 passengers and crew in Skyline 777. As the fate of the aircraft hangs in balance, Ajay Devgn’s Vikrant Khanna is compelled to make tough decisions—a total of 314 decisions as he says—and manages to save every life placed in his expert care.
The story takes a twist when the head of the Airport Authority, played by Amitabh Bachchan, declares the saviour as the culprit. It rests on Captain Vikrant Khanna to prove his innocence and the correctness of his spur-of-the-moment decisions.
The trailer is fast-paced and compelling, indicating that Runway 34 should make for a gripping watch in the cinemas. Ajay Devgn has also produced and directed the film. Besides the two lead stars, Runway 34 features Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh in pivotal roles. Popular YouTuber Carryminati, aka Ajay Nager, essays a cameo in the film. As per the makers, Runway 34 is based on true events.
