The Family Man Season 2 has been delayed and there is no other way to say it other than directly putting it out there. The super-hit Prime Video web-series was to be released on the 12th of February, 2021 but it has been delayed indefinitely due to various controversies of shows like Mirzapur and Tandav, that Prime Video has been streaming. The latest season of The Family man was much awaited not only for the return and continuation of the story, but various other reasons too.
Yes, we wanted to see Manoj Bajpayee in action. Yes, we wanted to know what happens to Moosa but most importantly we wanted to witness the South Indian superstar Samantha Akkineni weaving her magic in the digital world and that too with such a cast and such a magnificent show. Even before the teaser dropped we knew Samantha would be playing a rather significant role, and the release of the teaser proved it to be completely true. In various interviews over the time, she has been mentioning how amazing it has been to portray the role given to her and we were sure that we will most definitely enjoy watching her in full on action.
But, now this seems to be coming in another different lifetime. First, Prime Video delayed the teaser with teasing everyone with memes and what not. We all fell for it, thinking it is some sort of marketing gimmick to keep us interested. Later, we come to know that the entire show has been postponed. This means delay in Samantha Akkineni’s digital debut. Her fans have been dying to see her ever since she was on the screen for her last movie, “Jaanu” which released back in 2020. Though she did make a brief appearance with her web talk show on Aha, “Sam Jam” this wasn’t enough for the fans.
We are sure it is not only us who are waiting impatiently to see her in action but Samantha too. She also must be dying to give her fans the gift of her digital debut with a show like, “The Family Man S2”. We are sure about one thing though, no matter how long we wait, her entry in the show will be something that will definitely steal our hearts all over again. So maybe a little more wait, even though it seems next to impossible for that now, but then again we have nothing else to do other than the series to drop on the platform.
