Sara Ali Khan will headline the project based on 1942 Quit India Movement, to be directed by “Ek Thi Dayan’s” director Kannan Iyer. According to reports of Pinkvilla, the film will be released on the streaming platform Amazon Prime, and ain’t going to proceed for any theatrical release. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the rest of the details of the movie is still under wrap.
Sara has a couple of movies in her line-up including Laxman Utekar’s untitled film alongside Vicky Kaushal and “Gaslight” alongside Vikrant Massey. Also her recent movie “Atrangi Re” starring Dhanush and Akshay Kumar alongside has showered her with a lot of positive responses.
