It’s been a massive wait of more than three years. But finally, we have a confirmed release date for the new season of the much-appreciated thriller series Shei Je Holud Pakhi on Hoichoi TV.
To give you a bit of context, Shei Je Holud Pakhi is a musical-thriller web series that originally aired on Bengali OTT platform Hoichoi TV in mid-June, 2018. It featured a stellar cast of Tridha Choudhury, Saswata Chatterjee and Gourab Chatterjee in the lead. The series is directed by Anirban Mallik.
Though the first season was an instant hit on Hoichoi TV among Bengali thriller lovers, the announcement of Shei Je Holud Pakhi Season 2 took a hell lot of time. Now finally, fans of the show have something to be excited about.
Hoichoi TV took to their social media account to share the release date for the thriller show, along with a short video clip featuring Tridha. While this confirms that Tridha Choudhury is returning for the second season of Shei Je Holud Pakhi, we still don’t know about Saswata Chatterjee’s presence in the new season. Shei Je Holud Pakhi Season 2 will premiere on Hoichoi TV on 14th of April, which is the Bengali New Year Day aka Poila Boishakh.
In the debut season of Shei Je Holud Pakhi, which comprised of 7 episodes, Shom, the character of Saswata Chatterjee, tries to connect with his missing daughter through the songs of Tridha’s Vaidehi, an aspiring singer. The plot thickens when Vaidehi suddenly dies of an accident.
We are pretty sure that the new season of Shei Je Holud Pakhi will bring a lot more chills and thrills. But to see those unfold, you will have to tune in to Hoichoi TV on 14th of April, where a new mystery will be waiting for you.
